New Year – New Job – Sounds like a fantastic opportunity to join our winning team at Central Facilities Group!

We are looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to come and join our friendly team at this 119 bedroom, 4-Star property, located centrally close to the banks of the River Foyle and the Peace Bridge in Derry/Londonderry.

You will be responsible for the supervision of a busy housekeeping department, leading by example and setting high standards to ensure the service is operated safely, hygienically and to contractual specifications.

Expectations

  • Support the Head Housekeeper in training, supporting and motivating the housekeeping team and ensure we maintain high standards of excellence
  • Assisting with the development of a proactive relationship with the Front of house team and ensuring all rooms are cleaned in conjunction with guests check in/departures
  • Maintaining consistently high standards of cleanliness and ensuring staff are all polite, courteous and look after guests needs
  • Assist the Head Housekeeper with Room Attendant productivity, Supervisory hours and weekly budget control
  • Assisting with the development of a proactive relationship with the Front of house team and ensuring all rooms are cleaned in conjunction with guests check in/departures

Experience

  • A welcoming, friendly and outgoing manner and with the passion to motivate your team
  • Passion for cleaning with a high level of attention to detail and quality
  • Worked within a supervisory capacity in the hospitality industry or a similar customer service sector
  • A hands-on approach needed – to support the front-line team and potentially clean rooms
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends
  • Self-starter qualities, be ambitious, passionate with excellent leadership qualities
